Tone your arms with a ball and figure of 8. For this exercise, you’ll need a ball. Get into the area of a pool where the water reaches your shoulder. Stand with feet apart, then do some breathing exercises for a minute or two. Stretch your arms forward with the ball on your hand then start drawing the figure of 8 under the water. Make it as big as you can.

Marching under the water is another good exercise for you. It’s the same as marching on land but marching under the water will take more time before you get tired. That’s because you can move with less effort when you are in the water. While marching, make sure you extend your arms and legs as far as you can.


Stretch your trunk with a side stretch. For this exercise, you’ll need to move to the side of the pool or somewhere there’s something you can hold on to. Make sure though that water is still up to your shoulders. Once you find your spot, pull your arms up as high as you can then try to reach sideward for the pool’s edge. Water swings for your waist. For this exercise, you also need the poolside for support. First, lay your back on the poolside with your arms stretched forward. Slowly pull your knees on your chest then stretch one leg to the right then back to the center. Do this too to your other leg.
